In June 2001 your association applied for a DVA grant to establish a lawn mowing service for Blue Mountains' Veterans and others who are disabled and in a deserving situation. That application was successful and the service became operational in February 2002.

With the grant monies this association purchased a motor vehicle, trailer and lawn mowing equipment. The service is operated by volunteers, so if you are able to help one or two days a fortnight please contact the association Peter Jones on (02) 4751-8833.

More recently; over the past few months the Association received another grant for the upgrade of our vehicle and equipment. You can see the new equipment, Vehicle and Trailer by clicking here , the new equipment will really make things easier and enable a lot more to be done, however, there is still a need for members to help if possible.
