I was called up for national service in 1972, shortly after joining the NSW Police. After graduation from the Officer Training Unit at Scheyville, I served as a commissioned officer in the Australian Army, and then the Army Reserve.

 

 

Now:

After retiring as Deputy Commissioner of the NSW Police Force, my main focus has been helping the families of veterans through the Blue Mountains Legacy.

Other Interests:

I maintain a close association with the NSW Mounted Police as Patron, and am involved in judging ring events at both the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Bathurst Show.
